Shop Clara Joh began in late 2019 when my husband and I were first married and before I started my full-time job in our new city of Washington, DC. I've always loved crafting, art, decorating, and making things with my hands, so I started an Instagram to document my DIY projects. In February of 2020 my sister introduced me to clay earrings and I decided to try making a pair for her birthday. After posting them on Instagram, a few people asked if they were for sale and I've been making and improving them ever since! Since then, I've added pearls, beads, and vintage earrings to my designs and am always working on learning new jewelry-making techniques.

Now I make my jewelry in my home studio in Charlottesville, Virginia, where I live with my husband and son. In my free time I enjoy reading, playing the flute, crocheting and spending time outside enjoying the stunning landscapes of central Virginia.
